FSY Accommodation of Persons with Disabilities PolicyEach participant will be asked to pay $75.00 as part of registration.
Registration information will be sent after a member of the bishopric has approved them to attend.
Pre-registration
October 22, 2024 - January 14, 2025
Pre-registration is available to approved youth. There is no preference given to youth that pre-register first over those who pre-register last.
Pre-registration Finalization
January 16 - January 29, 2025
At the beginning of this phase, session assignments are announced to youth who have completed their pre-registration.
Session assignments can be viewed on their FSY Dashboard.
Session assignments will also be emailed or texted to youth and parents (though this may take a few days).
Benefits of Pre-registration
A significantly increased chance of getting into preferred session(s).
The ability to link up to five other youth to ensure you are assigned to the same session (though this will not assign you to the same company).
Avoiding an online queue with other youth while attempting to register.
Time to resolve any account issues before your preferred session(s) are filled.
All participants must have their own account with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with an email address linked to it before your Bishop can approve you for registration. If you do not already have an account, please create one. You do not have to be a member of the Church to create an account. If you have forgotten your username or password, you may recover it here.
Each Bishop will submit the names of youth approved to register, then the youth will receive an email with an invitation to register and the link to log in.
Please go to the registration tool to do so. The sooner you register, the more likely you are to get into the session you prefer. Registration for all FSY programs must be completed online at least 2 weeks prior to the session.
If you are having trouble registering, please contact your Bishop to confirm that you have been approved to register.
The FSY hotline number is 801-240-3009
If you have a question regarding registration, you can also email FSYRegistration@ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
If you have a question or request regarding disability or medical accommodations, email FSYAccommodations@ChurchofJesusChrist.org.

For the Strength of Youth (FSY) conferences are modeled after Brigham Young University’s Especially for Youth (EFY) conferences. These five-day events have been held extensively outside the United States and Canada for several years. Youth may attend beginning in the year they turn 14 and until their high school graduation. Each stake will be invited every other year. FSY conferences include activities, devotionals, and classes designed to help strengthen faith in Jesus Christ and provide opportunities for youth to grow spiritually, socially, physically, and intellectually. Youth will attend the FSY session their ward has been assigned to attend. For information regarding which session your ward has been assigned, click here.
Youth may attend FSYs scheduled for their stake beginning in the year they turn 14 and until their high school graduation. Each stake will be invited every other year. Youth in invited stakes who are graduating from high school and are no older than 18 by December 31 will be able to register at a later date than other youth.
FSY conferences will typically be held at college or university campuses. Youth will stay overnight in the campus dorms.
Each youth will be asked to pay $75 USD ($100 CAD).
In addition, the stake or ward will pay $75 USD ($100 CAD) from the local unit budget allowance (LUBA) for each individual. The bishop may also use LUBA to help individuals when necessary. If desired, wards may use the annual fundraising effort to help offset the cost (see General Handbook: Serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints [2020], 20.6.8, ChurchofJesusChrist.org). FSY is a high priority of the general leadership of the Church, and they have directed that FSY be available to all eligible youth and will, therefore, cover the majority of the conference cost.
In the year that youth attend FSY, their stakes should not hold other large events, such as a youth conference or trek. Stake or ward Young Men and Young Women camps and other regular activities may continue as normal. Camps should be scheduled at times that do not conflict with scheduled FSY conferences.
No, youth do not need to attend the same FSY session as their stake or ward. Youth can register for any session shown on the Stake Assignments page under their stake. Some stakes only have one session listed because transportation is being provided to that stake or because there is only one available session within 2.5 hours of the stake center. Others only have one session listed because their stake leaders opted to have their youth register for the same session. Most stakes have access to multiple sessions.
Several non-traditional EFY opportunities will continue to be offered through BYU. See efy.byu.edu for more information.
Individuals whose stake center is located less than 2.5 hours away from the conference will be required to provide their own ground transportation to the conference location. If a large number of youth from a stake will attend the same conference, stake leaders may arrange for commercial transportation, following the guidelines in the General Handbook: Serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (2020), 20.6.24, ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
FSY will generally provide transportation for those whose stake center is more than 2.5 hours from their assigned FSY conference location. FSY staff will work with the stake Young Women president to arrange travel, as applicable. If FSY is providing ground transportation to your stake, the stake Young Women president is responsible for selecting and coordinating bus chaperones. More details regarding travel is forthcoming. Visit your Stake Assignment page to see if transportation is being provided to your stake by FSY.
Youth in stakes scheduled for an FSY conference will be invited to begin registering online during the first quarter of the year of the conference. See Stake Assignments to see what year your stake is assigned to attend. Registration information will be sent after a member of the bishopric has approved them to attend.
See the Registration Timeline for important dates for 2025.
Once registration is open for the invited stake and a member of the bishopric has approved the youth, they can register online via the link on FSYYouth.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.

Stake and ward leaders should encourage and help youth register for FSY. Youth will register individually online with their own account. See the FSY leaders page for more detailed specific stake and ward leader responsibilities.
Youth from invited stakes register on the FSY registration website (registration available early 2023). They must be approved by a member of their bishopric before they can register. Bishoprics have the responsibility to approve youth, which can be done on the youth approval tool. Bishoprics do not need to interview youth prior to approval unless they are not confident that they meet the participant expectations shown at the top of the youth approval tool.
Wards are encouraged to hold an activity after the bishoprics approve their youth to attend but before January 15 during which each youth (with their parents) logs into this site to test their login. Visit the Account Error Resolutions page for solutions to common login problems including MRN errors, Child of Record accounts, and forgotten usernames and passwords.
Bishopric members should consider the financial circumstances of the youth in their ward and determine if there is a need to provide assistance so all who are eligible are able to attend an FSY conference.
Please see FSY Standards of Conduct.
